best pitcher in the game?

If we're talking about this season, I'd say Mark Mulder and Roy Halladay. Dontrelle Willis has also been awesome....

If we're talking about the last couple of years, I'd say

and so on.....

I'll argue against Wood being on the list. He's admittedly awesome at times. But he's never won more than 13 games in a season, and to therefore have him included among the ten best in the game is overrating him. His stuff is top ten, but his record isn't. And putting the 8-6 Wood on the All Star team over Willis is an outrage.

Woods only once made at least 30 starts, due to injuries. Its unfair to slight him over a saesons win total. His career win % right now is 595%, pitching for a sub 500 team, with a poor pen, and a feable offense. In fact, his win % is better then Priors. Its ironic, that after a superb 3 months, following a iffy career, Schmidt is in the top 2.

Why is Roy Halladay not on the list.....he is definetly making a case to be one of the best. Give him 2 more years like this one and I think he tops the list.....(even though I won't start him tonight against my boys!!)
