12 team league, just finished drafting...I didn't get Cantu or Utley like I wanted and I know my outfield is a little weak, it was difficult picking LF, CF, RF instead of just OF, but other than that, gimme some opinions, I'll do the same.

C. V. Martinez
1B. T. Helton
2B. M. Giles
SS. M. Young
3B. D. Wright

Ut. R. Howard

SP. B. Myers
SP. A. Burnett
SP. L. Henandez

Very solid IF (including C) and your outfield isn't as bad as you think...looks like 3 very similar guys that will hit about .270 with 25 HR. Starting pitching is a little suspect. Does this league not have any bench spots or did you just not list them? You might want to explore some options for acquiring a good starter, but it's hard to tell without seeing who is on your bench. Overall, not too bad. I'd give it about a 7.5 out of 10, but that can easily rise to an 8 or 8.5 if you acquire a good starter without damaging your IF.

Here's mine...keeper league team:

Offense is definitely your strong suit. Your starting pitching is average at best. Depending on who you have on your bench, maybe trade from an area of strength on offense and get a top tier pitcher. Right now with the team you have I would say you would finish around 4th in your league. Good luck.

thanks, we actually only have 2 bench spots, one I used on Dempster who I plan on using at SP, and the other on Luis Gonzalez from Col., just because he plays almost every position and I can plug him in for anyone. what are people thinking about Helton this year, I think I might regret not taking Konerko and Hafner, I dunno...I like my infield too though, especially Victor and Wright. Also, should I keep Kazmir or pick up a Loaiza, Rogers, or Suppan?

Helton's healthy his average will 40 points higher than Konerko but he will hit 15 HR less - I'll take the average if I had your OF. Your OF is solid all will hit 25+ HR, score about 85-90 runs with 90 RBI and a 270 AVG. You could have done worse. Your IF is impressive even without Utley and Cantu. You might want strengthen your pitching.

I'm in agreement with the other posters here....the starting pitching needs help. You just don't have that one reliable stud on your staff. I'd look to try and make that happen.

can you take a look at mine??
