Looking to make some moves

I don't know if I like having Overbay at 1st. I mean, he'll be solid, but pretty unspectacular for a first basemen. Then again, Hafner will probably get 1B eligability at some point this season.

A couple of things I have considered involve moving Dunn to first and Huff to third, then trading Overbay and Mora (or Huff) for a stud OF. I mean, I can probably find Overbay or Mora-esque type production on waivers (Gonzo, Chris Shelton availible). What kind of value could I get for Mora (or Huff)/Overbay? Or would you just leave my team as is? Is there any other improvements I could make? If I don't make any moves would you rather start Guillen in the OF, bench Overbay and play Dunn at 1st? I'm willing to help you if you reply.

I like Shelton straight up over Overbay. You could use Dunn at 1B and insert Gathright in the OF (I read today that Gathright will start in center) that would give more power at first and moe SB's.

Where did you hear this about Gathright? I haven't seen it anywhere.

Overbay had an incredibly high BABIP in 2004 but one near league average in 2005, so I would expect his 2005 numbers to be closer to the real Overbay than the 2004. That being said, I would scour the waiver wire for a replacement. Try to trade Overbay for something rather than just letting him rot on your bench (or releasing him) but I think you can easily get equal production off the league waiver wire.

I'm not much of a Guillen fan because he plays at RFK (where HR go to die), but if he's your best option, plug him in the lineup.

Hafner made 1 error every 30 innings I think it was.. someone here has the exact stat Im sure.. (im at work)
Dont count on him pulling in 20 games. at 1b...


Unspectacular but serviceable is not so bad.. he wont hurt you and with injuries and over performers you may be surprised.

Dont make a trade unless it can gain you points overall......
