You're somewhat lacking in OF power, and HRs in general. Your SBs should be balanced enough to give you mid-level production, I like Mauer at catcher, watch out for Huff he's a notoriously slow starter, he'll make you wanna bench him in the first half (and a good 1B to plug in if he really slumps would be a nice luxury). I'm not sold on Lowell having a bounceback year just yet, and you already have Atkins to backup Rolen, you might just wanna drop him for someone better suited to your needs (perhaps Wily Mo Pena, seriously). Oh yeah, not huge on Jacque Jones, he'll hurt you in BA and probably won't be a plus in much of anything.

I love the top half of your SPs, the bottom half not so much, though at least Clement and Mussina should put up decent win totals.

Yeah you could use a little more pop. Mayby try and package a second tier pitcher and an outfielder and get a big bopper.

who are the best of the waiver? I'd think about dumping Jacque Jones. He may put up some improved HR numbers in chicago but I don't think he is all that special.

You could definitely use some more power, like most everyone else has said. Also, it would not hurt if you do go ahead and get another closer. I really like your starting pitching. That seems to be your strongest point and where you should be looking to deal from to better the power and RP on your team.

A lot of SP's there. If you play them all on starting days, you'll get lots of W, but I'm afraid your ratios might suffer.

I really don't like the idea of having a C at Util. Another 1B would be ideal, especially if Huff starts slow again. Anyone decent available on waivers?

Or if you can trade Johjima to someone who didn't get a decent catcher, that might help. Although, there are a lot of catchers real close to each other in the third tier, where Johjima might not be a better option than a lot of what people already have.

I agree with the above posters on Lowell and Jones. It depends on who else is out there - Jones might be solid, or he might be too much of a hinderance in BA. Lowell is a good backup, but as has been said, you already have Garrett Anderson as a 3B backup... you have to decide if Lowell is worth it as a 2B backup or not.
