I know it's only spring training but it's pretty impressive.
Per Rotoworld.com:
Barry Bonds started in left field today and had a three-run homer and a double before being removed from the game against the Brewers.
7-for-9 with three homers. We still don't want to see him on Team USA if the club advances to the semifinals, but he sure would have been a great deal of help to the team's chances.

Bonds will continue to hit until his knees prevent him from running out singles. No-one who looks at him objectively should think otherwise. USA should be doing everything it can to get him in Damon's spot for the semis (if we make it), and let him DH over Teix, who's been awful.

I really question whats going to happen once he starts playing defense, his knees are rickety. Gosh he'd be great as a DH in the AL..

I don't believe all the 'doubters and haters' ever questioned his ability to hit a baseball.

I don't believe he'll play more than 110 games if healthy which is going to hurt his stats regardless of how well he mashes. I also don't have a ton of faith in his knees holding up all year. Really has nothing to do with his actual hitting which I project to be more or less the same as in 2004.

I think he's referring to Jeremy Bonderman, but Bondy or Bonds for short. I didn't know he could hit that well - maybe he's evolving into a Livan Hernandez/Mike Hampton-type hitter
