huff with 3b eligibility is great.
but i question gathright, will he do anything with more ab's than just get more sb's?

Yeah, the big news here is Gathright. I'm thinking you can expect a season like Posednik and a huge late round discount. Great news...!

50 steals is a real posibility, 40 a real liklihood. I imagine he'll get you a decent amount of runs scored also.

Burroughs/Branyan was the only other option at 3rd...what would you rather have burroughs at 3d and Huff in the OF or Gathright in center and Huff at third? ...seems like an easy decision to me

When Baldelli is ready will he go to Center and put Gasthright to the bench? Or will Gomes DH???

they have options but I think they would want to DH Gomes...they would have the fastest outfield (Crawford, Gathright, Baldelli). Maybe they could track down all of those balls when their pitching gets lit up. Hollins figures to be a decent sub. With the season ending injury to Shinji Mori and the lack of pitching all together they are going to want to deal for some pitching also that would clear some playing time for their prospect hitters. I am anxious to see what they do. Lugo and Huff are free agents at the end of the season.
