Reitsma will start the season as the closer. Devine will be right there when he falters though ;-D and should pick up plenty of holds regardless

I agree. Read somewhere that they'd like to move Davies into rotation and would then try to trade Thompson for bullpen depth.

Chris Reitsma left Monday's game in the ninth inning with an apparent left hamstring injury.

Chris Reitsma considers himself day-to-day with a left hamstring strain.

Keep an eye on this ...

Chris Reitsma left Monday's game in the ninth inning with an apparent left hamstring injury. Reitsma didn't seem particularly interested in departing, so consider him day-to-day. Should this be something more serious, then Oscar Villarreal would likely head into Opening Day as the favorite for saves in the Atlanta pen. Mar. 27 - 9:52 pm

I saw this on the bottom line this morning. Devine's a FA in my league and I have Orvella on my roster currently. Might not be that difficult of a decision if this plays out well for Devine. So Villarreal is the current closer? :-?

I'm surprised that there is very little interest in this topic as I know that plenty of people on this board have picked up or drafted Devine in the past week or two. Does anyone think that Villarreal is really going to be closing instead of Devine in Reitsma's absence?

Both Devine and Villarreal are availible FA in my league that counts holds. I'm thinking about dropping R. Seanez (Bos.) to pick up either of them. What do you guys think??

Sorry. I know this belongs in the other forum, but you guys are the ones that would know more about it.
