Koch just blew Colon's win! Gave up 3 runs and only got 1 out.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I don't think Mrs. Koch would appreciate you saying that about her son.... He has to be good at something, car mechanic, carpenter, grocery bagger...
I sure am tired of seeing these games keep coming in. Manuel won't keep him closing long if he don't start pitching better real soon.
Useless Trivia of the day
England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
Wonder if Koch could learn to flip a burger? The grocery bagger is a good idea too.

I took a "what the hell" shot and grabbed Flash Gordon and Brian Fuentes a couple of weeks ago. Have five starters, three closers and those two guys, figuring they'd net me some K's without hurting other categories. I'm suddenly feeling very smart.
Well, some impulsive guy dropped Koch for Marte today, after Koch gave up Crawford's walk-off homer. That's probably not a bad choice, since Marte's been lights out. I wanted Marte as a middle reliever on my team and was excited to go pick him up today since he could be closing first, but found him gone :(
Oh well, I'll file a waiver request for Koch and hope he hangs on.
Do y'all think Marte would inherit the closer job or Gordon? Marte's numbers are better by a lot, but he's a lefty and some managers don't like to have their lefty closing.

I feel your pain there Madison. Only comfort i got is that the guy im playing this week has Koch. So when i look at it, he woulda got the save to counter my win. Instead Koch got him negative points today. Not that its going to matter. The guy i'm playing has gotten 10SAVES AND 1WIN so far this week. Points based h2h, so that adds up to a whole heck of alot of points. He started 6 closers and 1 SP against me this week.
Closers-
Urbina-3 saves
Benitez-3 saves
Rivera-1 save
Williamson-2saves
Koch-1 save,1BS
Gagne-0
Buehrle-1Win with another start to go.
I'm only down by 21 pts, but i only have 1 closer-Smoltz, and one more start-Padilla for the week. Not looking good.

I grabbed Fuentes too about 3 weeks ago. I already have Worrell and Valverde. but I figured what the hell. Hard to score runs, if you can't hit it. Even at Coors he is really solid for H2H
