Help with money league strategy

Postby Jbyrdo » Tue Mar 14, 2006 8:27 pm

My money league is a 10 team league with standard 5x5 categories except Strike Outs and Total Bases added for hitters and Outs(!?!) and Home Runs added for pitchers. The Roster is essentially the same except an added Infield spot, LF, CF, RF and 1 OF. Still 2 SP 2 RP and 3 P.

What Guys would you bump up or down because of these categories? Homerun hitters seem great because they add to the TB, but only if they don't K a lot. Also, does the addition of K and TB along with OUT and HR devalue the stat of SB and SV where I can draft these specialists to a minimum?

My thought was that I am only being scored on steals 1/7 isntead of 1/5 and the same goes for saves. I am not saying punt these categories, but just draft one stud closer and/or one good base stealer to meet these needs.

Thoughts? :-?
