Just wondering if anyone ever clocked themselves on a fastball and how hard they threw (without exaggeration).
I've never had anyone clock me, I've had people watch me pitch and say that I throw high 70s/low 80s. So I can't make the majors, but maybe my 30 mph curveball will do the trick?
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
In High School I could throw a baseball 72 MPH until I separated and dislocated my shoulder playing soccer. I used to be able to curl toss (the way goalkeepers distribute a soccer ball) about 50 yards until the same injury... now I struggle throwing it 35
Frosh year, 2001, I was hitting high 70s and low 80s consistanly, also played football and could easily throw a nice 50 yard pass... then i tore my rotator cuff taht summer and my doctor offered two options, surgery or no surgery and let it heal naturally because of how young i was, but i probably wouldnt be able to pitch again.. so i havnet played baseball in 3 years but i think im gonna this year and see if i can still pitch or not.. i think ill be happy if i can hit 70 again..
Baseball? I think I threw one in the mid-50s once at Six Flags. I'm obviously not a baseball player, huh?
Now tennis... At one point, I had a serve that consistently hovered around 100 mph (and they went in, thank you). Also, I once had one of my backhands clocked in the mid-90s. It was particularly humorous because, at that time, I couldn't serve anything harder than low-80s.
