They are talking about Risk territories, not the Canadian government!! ;-D

Re baseball, I am trying hard to avoid guys w/ any sort of injuries in their backround but was unable to pass up the Big Unit in the 5th round. I figure even if the ratios slide a bit, the W are likely to still be decent?

I like JD Drew this year but not as much as the other guys in the leagues I'm in. I'm not sure why he flew off the board given the history but the hype seemed to still have some legs!

Province, we're a province Einstein. Nunavut, Northwest and Yukon are Territories.

And Ontario has beat down the US in every bonspiel held to date. ;-D

Careful confusing them with such exotic words, Mookie.. :-b

Curling is not a sport, I don't care what anyone ways. All I need is broom and I could be an olympic curler.
I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades...or a game of fake heart attack.

Yeah you guys might have beaten us, but there's no doubt we're nipping at your heels. See you in 2010. }:-)

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

AT wrote:About a month ago I was watching the Seinfeld episode and I got a huge craving for Risk. With that in mind, I'm going to Vegas Wednesday night with my buddy and we're bringing the Risk board on the plane and gambling on it. Would you want to be the guy sitting next to us while we're yelling "UKRAINE IS WEAK!"? Haha I didn't think so...

This thread was such a coincidence and so ironic that I had to throw that out there. Good times.

That being said:
Bonds
Clemens (I drafted him sooo late the other day...)
Pedro (Not sold that he'll be healthy this year with this foot thing. Pitchers with bad wheels get arm injuries.)
Gagne
Floyd (Blood in the Urine and some potentially serious Kidney conditions he's developing. Good luck with that...)
Jeff Francoeur (His second half was one of 3 things: Rookie getting tired. Pitchers figuring him out. His freeswinging style catching up with him. I'm staying away.)
Johjima (need I list the Japanese stars that have done nothing in MLB... But yes, I drafted him in my first offline money league. Got my fingers crossed)
Prior
Keith Foulke

Plenty of others that are high risk that I'm avoiding...

"UKRAINE IS NOT WEAK, UKRAINE IS STRONG!"

You're not very good at reading AT..
favorite high risk [/b]

Anyway, right now mine are:

Beltre
Bonds
Huff (I'm a big supporter)
Weeks
Unit

That's all I can think of right now...

Fielder
Prior
Schilling
