The Latest Innovation from Google

Postby da1chipo » Mon Mar 13, 2006 11:36 pm

Check it out (for any of you interested in astronomy):

"Google Mars"

http://www.google.com/mars/

Props for anyone who can tell me the name of the tallest mountain in the solar system (without looking it up), thought I don't see why anyone would bother to do that. 78,000 (or 88,000 depending on your sources) feet in elevation. For all you earthlings, Mt. Everest is about 29,000 feet.

It is weird what stuff sticks with you, from copout science classes in college.

I heard Uranus has the biggest logs 8-o
BTW when you zoom all the way out (full - ) you'd see it's the same picture over and over. I'm not sure what that means other than it's a miniscule depiction of mars.
