Ryan Howard = 40+ HR's ???

45 might be a bit high...but I know baseball prospectus had him at 41 for '06, and their pecota predictions seem fairly conservative across the board. He has hit at every single level he has played at, with a ton of power, including in the majors last season, and plays in a park that inflates homers for righties, so I see 35-40 homers as a MORE realistic prediction than 30-35.

40-45 is probably unrealistic for this season. Look for 35 on the upside.

Howard bats LEFTY, so i suppose hr inflation for righties isn't relevant. Hopefully it boosts left hander hitting hr's too...

So draft him where? ESPN has him going 63rd on average in their drafts. Don't think he'll last to the sixth round in my league....

I truely see 40+, I know many of you are saying low to mid 30's. In ST (and I understand it's just ST) he's hitting them out at a rate of every 4.75 AB's.. Nooooot baaaaad.. I still say 40-45 HR's, 115 RBI or so and maybe my .290 was a little high on the ave.. A .280 ish ave may be a little better..
