A healthy Drew will put up way better numbers then those draft positions. He is definitely worth the late round gamble as your 3rd OF.

I think he is very underrated this year. Which is fine with me. If I take a risk on a player, he is gonna be the top of the "risky" players list.

Drew is a great plyer. the only thing that would cause a difference in rankings is a difference in opinion of how many games he will play. Thats the only significant variable I see.

he's a poor man's Ken Griffey Jr...great when healthy, but the odds of a season ending injury are pretty high

Ok he's a little better than poor man's Griffey when healthy, but the problem is that you can't draft him as anything, but a 3rd OF because of the risks. Drafting him higher will only leave you feeling like a genius or pissed off at yourself when it's all said and done.

A: One. He had over 500 in 2004 when he was with Atlanta. He was also looking for a fat contract that year as well. Coincidence?

I'm not saying Drew doesn't carry fantasy value but don't draft him and expect more than 400 AB at best.
