Why is everyone down on Abreu

Abreu and Bay should have very similar stats this year... With Abreu maybe getting the upper hand on a few categories, but nothing should be too much of an edge...

That home run contest really hurt Abreu's swing, he was a bit of a disaster post all-star break. Bobby hits third in the lineup which is not a prime running spot in the order but he is always good for top three in the bigs for walks which increases his SB oppurtunities. He picks his spots to run but is he ever fast. Speed don't slump!

No, but it does decline perhaps more drastically than any other ability.

IMO no one has really been down on Bobby but more shone more of the spotlight on other players. This is because this year some people became ahead of im in drafts. Like Tex, Bay maybe you can count Wright. So IMO people arn't down just other people are high onn others.

Well, I do think there are a number of people who are down on him because of how he ended last season. People are going to go with their last memory and draft accordingly. I think it's happened to Tejada as well.
