How do you know where in MA he lives?
It's closer to 5 from my house in Newburyport.
Anyways you said yourself a good 5 hours both ways? And you want to do it in 7.5 hours? No way.
I really do know where he lives And it's definitely not a good 5 hours away from NYC......with no traffic, it's more like 3 and a half, so I'd say he's got a good chance to make it in 7.5

Dude... I used to LOVE that bar/resturant "The Grog" in Newburyport... haven't been there in a long time though (having two kids does that to a guy).
Yeah that's still one of the best restaurants downtown. Not Your Average Joe's moved in to the firehouse where Ciro's used to be(if you know where I mean) and I think they took away quite a bit of business from them.
What about the Lion's Den, where it used to be 18+ to get in of course that was a good 10 years ago, and being married with kid will do that to a guy.
Hell yeah, do it If you make it you get $200 and a fresh NYC hot dog. Worst comes to worst, you miss a couple of periods and have a cool story to tell Just stay sober and don't get caught and you'll be fine
Then I say do it. I live in Central Jersey and I can get to Boston in 3.5 hours with a nice tailwind. My best advice is to get good directions and not listen to MapQuest.

Now it's called Kitten's something.
I remember the Lion's Den had a sign that said "Totally Nude Dancing", but I don't think the new place goes that far.
