Rain baby, rain!

Postby Big Pimpin » Sat Mar 11, 2006 6:12 pm

Well, after almost five months, we're finally getting rain in the desert. Last time it rained was October 18th, so we're at 140 days or so. We were like a month and a half over the old record.

This is awesome. :-)

I drove through it! It sucked driving down the 10 in it last night. At least I got out of town while it rained.

We've actually had some rain lately, which we finished last year around 17 inches under normal, so no complaints here.

Enjoy the rain man! ;-D

Feels weird saying that though. :-?

That rain cancelled the Rockies vs Rangers game! Would have been the first game on radio or TV since Sunday! :(

Oh well, all games on next week I think. ;-D

When I went to Phoenix last February vacation it rained every day we were there(snowed at the Grand Canyon) and didn't get to 70 degrees once. From June to February(when we were there), they got more rain then the 5 previous years combined.

I wanted to see what the dry conditions in the heat were like compared to the humid ones in the east. :-t
