I would be interested in seeing your rankings of the top 15 or 20 minor league starting pitchers if you were starting a dynasty league today, using the typical less than 50 IP for minor leaguers.
Well you caught me at a bad time, I'm currently in a minor league draft with members from the cafe. So they could be spying at any moment and I wouldn't want to help them to much.
But what I will do is send you a PM (private message) in a few days when I have more time, k?
1. Francisco Liriano, Twins
2. Justin Verlander, Tigers
3. Chad Billingsley, Dodgers
4. Matt Cain, Giants
(big gap)
5. Mike Pelfrey, Mets
6. Jason Hirsh, Astros
7. Cesar Carrillo, Padres
8. Jon Lester, Red Sox
9. Scott Olsen, Marlins
10. Joel Zumaya, Tigers
11. Jonathan Papelbon, Red Sox
12. Homer Bailey, Reds
13. Philip Hughes, Yankees
14. Anibal Sanchez, Marlins
15. Anthony Reyes, Cardinals
Hirsh a higher than most rate him and even though his upside may be a little lower than some beneath him, I think he's more likely to reach it than others.

I don't think it's that huge of a gap and Hughes, Bailey are too low for my liking. They should be right behind Pelfrey
