Starting a team...

You are starting a Major League team.

You have to pick one Pitcher and one Position player to build your team around. Current players only, who do you pick?

I will not rest until I have you holding a coke, wearing your own shoe, playing a Sega game featuring you, while singing your own song in a new commercial starring you, broadcast during a super bowl game you are winning. Show me the $$$!!!

Albert Pujols - cos hes such a dedicated player, and plays his best everyday
Jamie Moyer - look what he did with Meche.

Pujols- if he really is 23. otherwise soriano

Prior- if his arm doesn't fall off

As an owner, you'd have to go with youth and monetary value. Once you pick up A-Rod's salary you have little monetary room for anyone else, so I'd pass on him.

Good question ;-D

Soriano and Prior.

I would pick Willis, but he isn't as proven as Prior. Youth is key.

Arod/Vlad/Pujols/Soriano. Any of the 4 great choices. Surprised Vlads name wasnt mentioned.

Prior, with Zito a distant 2nd. Moyer? Only if its a senior league.
