Roundhouse Kick to the head.
No but seriously, keep talking to him on the message board and maybe you can knock some sense into him. Talking about it normally helps and i bet the rest of the league will agree with you. If nothing comes of that, I would just ride it out and win next year.

really?

Ask him to quit, and if he doesn't, just quit, simple as that... Shouldn't put up $50 to be forced to lose.

I would definitely bail, and tell him he is being a terrible commissioner.
A league doesn't even need a commissioner once the rules are agreed to. I find leagues with no commish run much smoother. Too many commissioners just can't stop meddling.

having a commish like that blows. if the guy doesn't smarten up i'd just leave.
i've had the commish pull off BS ripoff trades with his best friend who was basically out of the running for the playoffs. then 3/4 into the season he declared that the league is a keeper league and trades all his future draft picks to this same guy for all his good players. of course i had already declared i wasn't playing next year because of the commish's complete BS, so i couldn't trade picks. what a shitty situation because some asshole has to act all stalin like running the league. i just quit the league in first place and didnt pay the guy.
