Team looks good. You have nice depth also. One thing you should definitely do though... trade Beckett, or Zambrano for better 1B then Sweeney. You have Oliver Perez whos just sitting on your bench. Hes soon to catch fire.

Definitely get a better 1B...

Yeah that might be a mistake waiting for a 1B until RD 16 but I figure power is something you can find on the WW if need be. I was hoping Howard would slide down.

if H's are a part of it, i'd look for some more middle relief and drop/shop one of your mid-level pitchers (escobar/gambler/perez)

thanks for mine

I agree with the weakness at 1st, but see what you can get w/o giving up Zambrano...I may be a little partial being a cubs fan, but he is really their #1 starter, and a workhorse

I think I'll be able to get Utley for Soriano.

So here is what I'm thinking...

Put Utley at 1B (bench Sweeney) start freel at 2B, drop Sanchez and pick up a player to play IF/UTIL and see about trading a P for another Util player (drop Lamb)

I would do that definetly if I could. I think after last year though whoever has Utley might want to keep him for more than just Soriano who doesn't like his situation in Was. I really like your OF

Yeah I really like my OF ;-D

I dropped Freddy Sanchez for Kinsler and will be dropping Lamb (won't see significant playing time) for "most likely" Willingham.

as per almost everyone else's suggestions. Upgrade 1b, Sweeney will not produce much for you there. Power numbers seem to be ok for you so I would look for a good average with lots of hits there with some power. If you can get Utley and put him there then all the better.
