So...about Stephen Drew

I need to learn a lot about Stephen Drew in a short time and at the moment I know very little. If you can give me any first hand information to my questions or just direct me in the way of a website with good information I would be much obliged and very grateful though not THAT grateful.
So, what can you tell me about him? Is he going to play in 2006 or is he a 2007 callup? Does he have any promise of a job right now or if he plays this year is it likely to be a summer or september callup? Is he a top 5 or top 10 prospect? Is he worth picking up in a dynasty league with 8 extra bench spots where you keep every player on your roster? What are the top lines we can expect from him in the future?

If this says anything BA has him in at #5 on their top 100 prospects. Chances are he either makes the team out of training camp or gets called up later this year. As for his numbers...

good average maybe .300 with 30 HR isn't a far cry if you ask me...

He is deffinatly worth a pick up in your style of league.

He is a top 10 prospect, maybe top 5, but there are alot of question marks too. Look at his older brother JD, tons of talent but brittle, so that is a downer. With justin upton in the system he will have to battle to stay at SS (though they say justin could move to CF). Drew is a great guy, in your league worth having (cou8ld win job out of spring trainging). however the guy I would want would be justin upton, he is being compared to griffey in terms of talent, though he is a 2007 call up. Also, I would say drew is second best SS prospect after brandon wood.

Look for S.Drew to move very quick, and possibly have a job out of ST..(With Counsell hurt, and trading of Cintron) He has incredible baseball smarts, and can play SS or 2B... With all prospects you take a risk, but at least with this guy... The ceiling is VERY high

Just for my own reference, how does Drew compare to JJ Hardy? I have Hardy and am very interested in Drew and was just wondering how they compare? Thanks for your input.

You can't really even compare them... Drew has loads more potential.

Hardy is known more for his glove than his bat. Drew makes a FAR better fantasy option (once me gets a full time job)
