Bonds traded to ATL

Back in 1991

John Schuerholz has a new book coming out saying that the Braves and Pirates agreed to a trade that would send Bonds to Atlanta. The Braves even scheduled a press conference, but at the very last second the Pirates pulled out.

Imagine how much that would have changed baseball history.

That's pretty amazing. Was it during the season in 1991 or after the season?

Makes you wonder if the Braves would have beaten the Twinkies in '91???

Actually, I like LaRoche as a sleeper pick this year. He had good numbers platooning with Franco and IF he learns how to hit lefties and righties, I like him.

Also, about Bonds, if he had gone to Atl I doubt he produces like he did in SF. Something about that California Balco connection I hear about, lol.
