I use K's

IMO a lot of K's but a bad record by a young pitcher means the next year he'll have alot of k's and a good record ;-D
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

For pitchers, it's ERA, WHIP, and K/9. For hitters, it's AVG, OPS, and sometimes RISP AVG.

If it's a closer, I like to know the ratio of SV to SV OPP. Someone may look good if they've got 35 saves, but they become a little less attractive if they blew 10 saves on the way there.

Yeah I like WHIP and K/9 for pitchers, as well as pitchers on winning teams.

I like BA, OPS, HR, 2B and SB for hitters as indicators.
