How about Watson now?
.326 BA .388 OBP .372 Slg 0HR 3SB 5/2 BB/SO in 48ab. Is he worth a look in deep mixed leagues for steals? Will help if you do

I read where Frank Robinson likes Watson because he's a true leadoff type of hitter. I think he'll start in center and leadoff, since he's having a nice spring. I think he's someone to put on your watch list. Might be worth a late round pick in deep leagues.

Latest Fantasy Source Update
Mar 16, 2006 - 02:39pm EST
Washington lost its leadoff hitter in the Alfonso Soriano-Brad Wilkerson deal. The Nationals will take a long look at Watson, the only true leadoff hitter in the organization. He has the speed, but there are questions about his bat. (Bill Ladson/MLB.com)
Fantasy Source spin: Watson has hit .390 and stolen three bases so far this spring, but only one of his 11 hits went for extra bases. If he's still hitting well two weeks from now, Watson could be a sneaky add to supplement your team's steals. See All Updates
