Both
...but if the question is which is MORE important, they both count for the same amount of points, however homeruns are directly related to runs and rbi (and average for that matter) so I guess homeruns.

HR is more important. Average just flucuates way too much to rely on. Thats not to say ignore average, but you can't go out of your way to win it, especially in H2H.
