SP Rueter, Kirk (SP-SF) SPBench ^@StL 2:10pm
SP Webb, Brandon (RP, SP-Ari) SPRPBench ^@Col 8:05pm
SP Vargas, Claudio (SP-Mon) SPBench ^@Atl 7:35pm

I was thinking of starting Webb and Vargas at least.

Well I'm starting Zambrano and benching Webb ( hurts me to say that).

I'd bench Rueter he could get shelled. Vargas might not be a bad start, the Braves have really been slumping.

If I had to pick from the four, I would go with Vargas. He has been impressive and the Braves bats have been MIA for the past several games.

As a Brave's fan with Vargas on his team, it pains me to say Vargas looks like the best option.

Zambrano has been walking guys a lot lately
Rueter has to face Edmonds and Pujols !+)

Webb has to pitch at Coors
Vargas hasn't given up more than 2 runs since May 26th. including against Texas, Seattle, and Toronto. Looks like an easy decision.

so bench Zambrano and Rueter?

Rueter has been pounded a couple times this season. Giants Rookie just shut the Cards down last night.

Phillies are playing good and scoring more runs than Cubs.

either pitcher could shut them down though.

Went 2 for 4. Was wrong with my team, but right with Rueter (bench), and Vargas (start).

I'm a little surprised that a week ago everybody (but me :-D

) was telling the RotoBabe to bench Zambrano against the fearsome Braves. Now it's unanimous to start...Claudio Vargas??? Have the Braves fallen that far???

Nice win by Vargas. I picked him up a couple weeks ago, but haven't started him because his schedule is brutal and he isn't a big K guy. Zero K's tonight.

If he didn't get the win, he'd be booted from my squad.
