How is my draft going?

Postby messyjesse1 » Thu Mar 09, 2006 1:19 pm

I have the 8th pick in a 10 man keeper league. My minor league draft looks like this...

1. Prince Fielder-1B
2. Ian Stewart-3B
3. Bobby Jenks-RP
4. Felix Pie-OF
5. Jason Kubel-OF

Also, should i take Cole Hamels or Ian Kinsler with my next pick?

(keep in mind my pitching staff in the majors is very strong)

It would help to know who else has been carried over...why no Delmon or Hermida but there is Fielder and Stewart etc.?

FWIW, Hamels long term upside is far greater than Kinsler's, but Hamels has to get his head and shoulder and elbow on straight for a prolonged period of time to show it.

that sound correct to me. i'd kinsler's ceiling to be marcus giles-esque, and hamel at one point had a ceiling higher then kazmir. if he can get his injuries under control.

This isn't the whole draft, just his and he had the 8th pick. I'm sure Delmon/Hermida were taken before him.

If you want a pitcher then taken Hamels, if not go w/ Kinsler as he is safer to actually produce.
