Word is that he was really annoyed that he was not in the AL MVP discussion last year and he worked his ass off in the offseason (he showed up to ST with less body fat) to be healthy and strong for the season. And Ortiz could easily be better this year than last year-- against lefties. Don't discount Manny this year. You'll be sorry.
