We all look at a lot of the same "power rankings" etc... and read a lot of the same reports here. But when draft day comes, most of us play a few hunches -- guys who we think will dramatically overperform -- and key players who will flop based on little other than a hunches.
Not looking for your rationale on why these guys may fail or succeed, but just wondering about your hunches.
What are your 3 irrational winners and 3 irrational losers?

irrational winners:
I always choose these guys...
tori hunter - i really think 30 30 is gauranteed if he plays 160 games
piazza - can't help taking him and hoping for 25 bombs
kelv Escobar - I take him everyyear hoping for 18 wins and 210 K's

Like you, I can't explain these -- but I've irrationally upgraded/downgraded these guys about 5-7 places for IF/C or 5-15 for pitchers/OFers. Nothing more than gut.
LOSERS:
Eric Chavez
Jason Bay
Houston Street
WINNERS:
Nomar
Corey Patterson
Joey Gathright
Don't have a particulalry fondness or dislike for any of these guys -- just gut.

For some reason I always figured Larry Walker would stay healthy, so took him higher than he should have been, took Bernie over Sosa in a keeper league the year before Sosa went nuts and staying with Steve Finly until August of last year.
Best move ever, trading Hal Morris for Todd Helton before Helton's rookie year.
