Who are some starting pitchers who are listed as SP, but will actually play most or at least part of the season in a relief role. My league's scoring system, which is only based on W/K/S favours RP over SP, because of a low max innings total...but we only have one RP slot....so a guy like Schilling last year had a higher points per inning average (for our league) than most starters.
is there anyone that would fit this mold? is liarino going to start out in the pen? maybe Wood, TIA guyz

Kerry Wood
Jaret Wright
Aaron Small
Aaron Heilman (possibly)
Not sure how many of those guys I'd want to own though.
I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class... especially since I rule.

I'm trying out a pure RP staff this year as well since this H2H league counts L's as well. (maybe win 4 out of 6 catagories and punt wins/k)
3 relievers I got in my 3 SP slots are heilman, dempster and papelbon. (plus b.wagner/nathan/f.cordero/valverde/wheeler/linbrink/f.cabrera) for 6 other rp/p slots.
Hopefully this strategy works out, and hopfully we both find heilman/papelbon useful.

Keep an eye on Arroyo if Boston doesn't trade him. They are about 7 deep in SP's, so someone will be relegated to the bullpen.

Dempster may have dual-eligibility, as well as Heilman. Both are worth a look this year.

Two difference makers I can think of that pitched as RPs last year are Schilling and Escobar. What about Kerry Wood?

Wood should have dual eligibility, but I think he'll be pitching as a starter this year if he's healthy. There has been talk of installing him as the closer, however.
