If he only starts at home, like he is unofficially planning to do, I think he is an awesome 7th or 8th round pick. That way, you know exactly when to start him, unlike a Vidro-type or Ellis Burks, if you remember, who just take random days off and leave you with 0's across the board for the day.

If you have daily and not weekly lineup updates, grab Bonds and someone like JD Drew and platoon them.
