Where can I find info on player contract?

Postby JimBaker » Wed Mar 08, 2006 3:40 pm

I'm looking for a player's contract length. There has to be a site out there that can tell me how much a player is making and for how long. USA Today has a salary database and ESPN has Salaries but neither list contract length.

How about minor league salaries?

I'm trying to make Baseball Mogul Online as authentic as possible. This is a huge help.

Is a minor league contract always a 1 yr contract for the league minimum?

I found a site last year that had a team by team chart of their players contracts so you don't have to scroll so much like in mlbcontracts.com.

Does anyone know of a site that lists contracts in a easy to read chart?

ESPN does the individual salaries like you described, but not the actual contracts. Another site that I just found recently that has good info, but is just an ugly site, is http://www.mlb4u.com/. Seems like it just has a ton of info on contracts, including quite a few minor leaguers.
