In the Texas lineup this could do some good things. Any Ranger fans or opinionated people out there that have any projections on what kind of numbers you think he'll put up this year?
He needs to keep the starting job, however while I do not expect a good average (somewhere around the .275 area), I see good numbers in all other categories for a rookie.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
I am somewhat concerned where he will bat. I have seen him projected as the #9 hitter in which case I would avoid him. I have seen him as a #1 or #2 hitter in which case I think his value increases.
On most teams I'd agree with you. But even if Kinsler is the #9 hitter all year long, he can put up some fantasy worthy #'s with Texas' lineup.
He'd definitely a guy to target late in a draft. Do people think he should be drafted before (or instead of) Delmon Young?
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

Yeah, I'm not worried about position eligibility so much as which late-round fantasy "gamble" has more upside.
