Already completed a trade, J. Nathan (6) for R. Furcal. I missed out on the top SS talent, so went after closers as trade bait, fortunatly it worked out.

I think I'm strong in all batting cat's, solid in saves, but weak on starting pitching. I obviously missed out on the best pitching talent, but since it's the most volatile position i'm hoping a couple of the players i have might break out, and hopefuly i'll nab a few more F.A.'s who start hot.

Any general comments would be greatly appreciated, aswell as overall feelings on my team, but i do have a few specific questions;

1) Are any of my top 10 picks players i should try to cash in on (ie. too dodgy, overvalued, ect.)

2) I intend to drop cabrera and silva, maybe also bedard and jacobs. Should i, and who for. (see F.A. list below)

3) With my 5 mid-tier high-upside Sp's (schmitd, lackey, escobar, harang, penny) do you think I have the basis of a solid rotation, or should i go after a trade for a top-quality SP. If yes, who/what should I use as trade bait?

Drop OCab and pick up Pr Wilson.

I would also drop Harang for DCab. You may need some rotation help.

I would drop Silva for D.Cab. I'm not crazy about O. Cab either, but not a lot of good FA options. My first inclination would be to look at Baldelli, but the recent news isn't great on his return. Wilson is probably a better bet. O.Cab will still be there if you need him.
