Abreu

Abreu is a good fantasy player, but is he really AS GOOD as he's made out to be? I mean where does he rank in comparsion with Ichrio, Bonds, Sosa, even Garrett Anderson? Can we list our top 7 or 8 OFs here and see where Abreu ranks in them and just to see everyones opinion since OF is such an important fantasy position. Thanks.

KENT has a nice list, except in fantasy Vlad is the best. In real life its Bonds easy.

Lets see..fantasy baseball..Hmmm Abreu is a top 10 OFer.

My ratings would be.
Vlad..does it all
Bonds....HR potential and high BA..if only he still ran
Ichiro...high BA, runs, and SB's
Green...good all around numbers..and still runs
Abreu...30/30 possible this season
Beltran...another possible 30/30 guy
Berkman....doesn't run enough
Ramirez....never runs
Ordonez...solid
Sosa...Tremndous power

Vlad - easily the top fantasy OF
Bonds - extra points if you league counts walks or OPS
Sosa - consistency counts
Ordonez - he can swing the bat with the big boys plus 10-20 SB
Abreu - he averages 25 HR and 25 SB / big season ahead
Manny - He a monster when healthy
Green - SB were down last year but he is a stud
Ichiro - Only thing he doesn't do is hit HRs
Berkman - Only thing he doesn't do is steal bases
Beltran - 30/30 but beware he will be traded

Giles just missed the top ten cut and Chipper and Hunter get honorable mention. I'm listing Pujols as 3rd baseman for this year.
