Anyone have anymore on this or know anything about this injury?

Mar 6 The New York Newsday's David Lennon reports New York Mets 1B Carlos Delgado (elbow) may not play in the World Baseball Classic due to tendonitis in his left elbow.

I'm really surprised that noone is interested in this. Maybe I'm making too much of it. Someone help me out here.

Mar. 6 The New York Daily News reports that Carlos Delgado did not face the Mets in yesterday's World Baseball Classic tuneup because of tendinitis in his left elbow - discomfort similar to what he experienced last year, when he missed the Marlins' first nine Grapefruit League games and spent early August on the disabled list. Delgado downplayed the injury, which others labeled tennis elbow, and indicated it's in a slightly different location than last year.

I'm concerned a bit, but appears that the Mets aren't as much. The did let delgado go back to the PR team in the WBC to receive treatment. Doesn't appear too serious at this point.

Delgado will still hit 30+ HR's this year even with a sore elbow...

No clue doesn't DUI mean driving under the influence, weird. But I think Delgados injury won't affect his play with the Mets you guys should be very excited your getting a heck of a 1st baseman a guy who hit 4 HR in one game .

I agree this guy hits the long ball and gets tons of ribby's....he also has the "longest" homerun (except it was hit at Sky Dome so it could only be projected) i also like the fact that he is hitting with dwright, beltran, floyd and reyes around him
