I saw Claussen had a nice outing, Weve all been hearing about him for a while, what are the chances he breaks out this year?

19% chance of a breakout rate according to Baseball Prospectus.

Trouble with BC is that he's a pretty extreme flyball pitcher which isn't a recipe for success in Cincy.

24 homers given up last year isn't awful, and I would expect some improvement from him this year.

I'll say 10-12wins, ERA 4.36, WHIP 1.38 about 125k's.
Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

Basically a guy who'll go undrafted in most leagues... but one to keep your eye on if he shows some good signs in the first month or so.

Claussen scares me, but I can think of worse options in deep leagues. In a default sized Yahoo league, he doesn't even cross my mind. I do think he will eventually have a pretty good year or two, but no telling when that will be. Maybe if he goes to a team that plays in more of a pitcher friendly stadium.

Just kidding.

Claussen is my super sleeper pitcher for this year. I think he will be this years' John Patterson. I've said too much.

ugghh. This guy has hurt me too much.

Too much hype surrounding him b/c he was a Yankee prospect and he was the one that made the Aaron Boone deal happen.

Avoid and pick up during the season if he breaks out (but don't count on it).
