The ACC is a far superior conference than the Missouri Valley (NOTE: I'm not saying the MVC is bad, I'm just saying the ACC is much better). The fact that these conferences got the same number of bids is ridiculous. Put 10 of the MVC teamas into the AC and they would be in last or 2nd to last. The ACC should not be penalized for having a large number of good teams. Even Wake Forest (the worst of the ACC) played very well in the ACC Tourney, hanging with Duke. The MVC should not be rewarded for beating up on Illinois State and Indiana State.
Maybe you should take a look at the RPI rankings.

I agree that the ACC is a better conference, but I don't see why Maryland or Florida State would be any more deserving to be in the tourney.
I know about the RPI and its probems. However, the ACC's 5th and 6tyh teams are more deserving than teh MVC's 5th or 6th teams. With a deep conference, many ACC teams were around .500 in the conference (Maryland, FSU). I think that these teams are better teams than the 3rd and 4th from the MVC, where the conference as a whole is not as storng. I'll see if I'm right this Thurs-Friday I guess though. And no--Im not hating on minor conferences all together. I am a big fan of Bucknell and I root hard for the mid-majors. Just I dont feel that all 4 MVC teams are more deserving than the snubbed ACC teams.

Anybody else surprised that Hofstra didn't get in and Air Force(Air Force?) did?
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.

I thought that was crap as well. Hofstra was the team with the most wins to not get in the tournament. BTW, who was in their conference that won the conference tournament.
