its my opinion that speed is the most overrated category in all of fantasy baseball. look at utley and figgins. utley will give you runs, hrs, rbis, sb, and ave. figgins is goign to score a lot of runs and steal a lot of bases, but thats about it.

go with utley and then hafner on the return side. a starting three of pooholes, utley, and hafner is going to be the foundation for a strong contender

I have them ranked one and two at second base, with Utley besting Figgins. But it also depends on what your needs are. They will most likely have a similar batting average, but Utley will have more HR and RBI, whereas Figgins will steal way more bases and probably score more runs.

Simply pick utley. Then in the third round you should pick your speed like reyes which was exactly how my team looks with the 2nd pick. But you have better get some pitching in the 4th and 5th if you pick spped in the 3rd.

Id go with Utley, you simply can't find his kind of power and all around contributions at 2nd. Id then try to grab a SS like Furcal or Rollins in the 4th if you can.

Did none of you guys notice that OPS is a cat? In a regular 5x5 Figgins and Utley are basically a dead heat, but with OPS as a cat, Utley has more value. Go with Utley.

This is a wash up, so you have to base your decision based on your needs - if you need speed, go with Figgins, but if you need some power, go with Utley.
