Can anyone point me to the "park factor" mentioned in the Abreau article? Thanks
The FAQ has a link to a different system, but it's not updated through 05. Not to mention having Cle being ranked as the second best pitchers park in MLB.
Here are park factors, although i don't like the way they rank them. Run index is the KEY index, as runs are the sole goal of hitting, versus pitching. I would ignore the score/rankings, and use the run index ranking.

Interesting, yet perplexing. Is it common knowledge that Turner field (110 r index) is a better hitters park than Arlington (108 r index)? or that Jacobs field (82!!11 r index) is an extreme pitchers park?? This stuff is blowing my mind.

3 year indexes are better imo.
Arlingtons 119 run index ranks 2nd
Turner run index of 99 ranks 12th
Jacobs 87 run index ranks tied at 27th

You can ask JTWood, StlSluggers or Pogo that one. I have heard that the design of the place is fairly standard as far as dimensions, although there is talk that there can be winds blowing out. Not sure though.
On park factors: I would invest more into 3 year averages, as wrveres stated.
