MLB video games...

Postby BGbootha » Mon Mar 06, 2006 4:40 am

Hey I noticed that MLB 06 The Show came out for PSP and PS2 a few days ago. But I didn't see it for the xbox.

The only game slated for the Xbox is 2k6????? is this right?? I have not played any of the 2K games, are they any good. Should I go buy a PS2?

Not sure about your other questions. But coming from a guy who was a PS2 nut, and had has playstation 2 breakdown, then learning that all of them breakdown I switched to PC gaming. I would advise to do the same because the graphics are better, the games are cheaper (in australia anyway) and for games like baseball, the rosters can be updated. ;-D

The 2K games have gone in the crapper since Sega pulled out of them. Now its a company called 2K sports that makes them. MLB 2K5 was complete garbage so I can't imagine this new one will be any good.

But hey, 2K has cornered the market on MLB games featuring real players... :-o

Thanks MLBPA and NFLPA for ruining sports video games. :-t :-t :-t

Guys, Bases Loaded on NES was the best baseball video game ever.

I dominated with New Jersey.

Absolutely agree, pc gaming is so far ahead because of the edge in graphics and the fact that you can dl them after buying from retail shops online.

RBI Baseball was my favorite baseball game on NES...Bo Jackson Baseball wasn't too bad.

Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball was awesome on SNES...

Hands down the best baseball game ever created was Ken griffey Jr.'s Slugfest (98?) for N64. I have like put 500+ hours into that game in my younger days.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
