This is a 10 Team, Head 2 Head, 7x7 Yahoo league. I had the 2nd spot in the draft. The extra stat catergories are Doubles and Triples (Offense) & Walks and Holds (Pitching). I played in a league with holds last season and really grew to love playing with that stat. It brings relievers other than closers into play and makes fantasy baseball more well rounded. Anyway, here are my draft results. Leave a link to your draft and I will leave comments fo you as well. Thanks,

C - Jason Varitek
1B - Albert Pujols
2B - Chone Figgins (3B, OF eligibilty as well)
3B - Hank Blalock
SS - Derek Jeter
LF - Pat Burrell
CF - Carlos Beltran
RF - Jeff Francouer
Util - Justin Morneau (1B)
BN - Jim Edmonds (CF)
BN - Mark Loretta (2B)
BN - Jeremy Hermida (RF)
BN - Bill Hall (2B, 3B, SS)

SP - Carlos Zambrano
SP - Brett Myers
SP - Dan Haren
SP - Aaron Harang
SP - Anthony Reyes
RP - Justin Duchscherer
RP - Chad Qualls
RP - Dustin Hermanson
CL - Bob Wickman
CL- Trever Hoffman
CL - Ryan Dempster
CL - Jose Valverde

I went fairly offense heavy in this draft. My only real concern is my Starting Pitching (I would have liked to have one more "Ace"). I also hope the Cardinals give Anthony Reyes the 5th spot in the rotation, otherwise he is a wasted draft pick. Think I should package Reyes and Edmonds to get an upgrade in SP? I feel I should do alright in saves and holds. Speed is another concern if Beltran doesn't run this year either. Please leave your thoughts and comments. Thanks!

aces are easier said than gotten

hitting looks great. i think u can sell francouer high and package him with myers to get an ace. hermida could put as equal or better numbers than francouer.

Myers was one of only 5 pithers with over 200 K's last year...can't let him go. But I agree with selling high on Francouer.

im not real familiar w/ h2h, but i dont think yr gonna get any bites on edmonds/reyes, not in a 10 team. i'd let it play out and see what loretta does and maybe make a move on blalock. you might be able to package blalock and move chone to 3rd. yr MR and CL look good. just seems like yr caught between losing power or speed.

definitely no bites on reyes/edmonds unless you want like blanton or something

i think your offense will compete and i think parts of your pitching need help, mainly CL but what you lack for in quality you make up for in depth. what will happen tho, and ive been in the same situation, you have good SPs but nothing dominant so your mediocre ERA will get dragged down by the mediocre days of the relievers, even if they do get SVs. BB might be a problem as well.

definitely find a way to get a good low ERA pitcher.

I think your team looks very nice! I don't see anything wrong with your bullpen, but like you said you could use 1 more ace.

You're offense is pretty stacked. And I like how you have multiple guys with multiple positions. Always comes in handy down the road when guys get hurt. I think you're pretty solid. Will all those closers be able to go daily? How many pitching spots can you play?
