if you're looking for a real sleeper, jj hardy isn't even getting drafted in most leagues. he has as much upside as barmes. renteria is a safer pick, he is proven. i snatched him up as a backup to furcal in like the 20 th round of a 10 team mixed league.

I'm going to agree here and say that Hardy might outperform Renteria and Barmes this year with a lot less hype. He hit 308 in the second half of the year with decent power (6-7 HR's) and a bb/k ratio of nearly 1.
yeah, if you can get renteria in the 11th instead of barmes in the 12th...i'd really push for renteria
Apparently you guys didn't watch Renteria 160 times last year
you got that right. but i'm pretty familiar with him, and i know he's a much better ballplayer than what he's shown recently. atlanta's giving him an excellent opportunity to rediscover his talent in a much lower-key environment.
say what you will, but late in the draft, i'll reach a round to grab edgar over clint. that said, i'll just as happily wait until rounds 20+ to take hardy if i'm getting the feeling he'll still be there. he should have a pretty decent season, as well.

The key words there are "late in the draft"... I agree with that and will be looking to take advantage of the scorned Boston-based owners in my league. My opinion is that he played hurt a good chunk of last year.
