10 HR 75 runs 50 rbi's 10 sb and a 285 avg could be used as a baseline prediction and you can grab him fairly late in most drafts. Keep him in mind especially if you play in a league like mine that has SS 2B and MI spots.

Great point on targeting Barmes. I forget about him constantly, and if you don't want to spend a draft pick on the top 6 SSs, there's some real bargins to be had late.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike
in the drafts you guys have seen, where has barmes gone in relation to renteria? i see edgar having a pretty monstrous rebound year (10 hr 90 runs 90 rbi 20 sb .290+). espn's adp has them separated by no more than 2 rounds, and at this cost, i'd tend to favor renteria.
I've done 3 drafts so far, and in only 1 of them did Renteria get drafted before Barmes... The first 2 saw Barmes getting drafted in the 6th and 8th rounds wtf??? With Rent getting drafted the 7th round and 10th rounds respectively... The 3rd draft Rent was picked at 91 overall, with Barmes going at 144th at the end of the 12th
