Kendrick projections

What's going to happen to Howie. he is looking good in spring training. will he just be a late call up and take over for kennedy. or is 2007 to be starter.

Kennedy will for sure be the starter in 06. The only way I see Kendrick taking over is if Kennedy goes down w an injury late in the season. I can see Kendrick up for a cup of coffee in September with Brandon Wood. Adam's contract is up in 06 so look for Kendrick to be the full time starter in 2007.

This is just a thought but if Kennedy's contract is up at the end of the year the Angels might give Kendrick August and September in the majors.

Kennedy is just barely a good and consistent enough player to fend off Kendrick for this year. You've got to think that Kendrick will be the guy next year though, unless he unexpectedly bombs this year. He'll be up sooner as a starter only if Kennedy gets hurt or if for some reason they fall out of the playoff race (which I doubt).
