There's just some Astros that I take despite my better knowledge (Bigs and Backe)...bc I love em too much. I know, I let my heart get in the way of business...but I can't help myself. So those 2 I'm not dropping; but what you think of the rest here:

Honestly, if you're serious about winning, get rid of Backe and probably Biggio as well. I understand you like them, but there's no way they are the best options available. There are at least 12 better 2B options than Craig and probably 100 more than Backe.

You have a whole lot more players from Houston than I'd be comfortable taking. They are all valuable in their own way, but I hate having that many players from the same team, especially a team that might not be that good.

Mackowiak is a bench player, drop him for someone more valuable. Try to deal Pettitte to limit your number of Astros. I like him, but he's probably got the most inflated value of all the guys you have. Try to swing a deal for a Schmidt-type. Good luck.

I like the move for Figgins. I don't like Biggio as your starting 2B. Just too many guys out there that will give you more production from the position. Lots of 'Stro's on your staff. I like Oswalt and Pettitte but for your own sake, you have to drop Backe. I like Giambi as your 1B. He's ranked pretty low on 1B sheets this year, but he was one of the hottest hitters during the 2nd half last year. your OF looks solid. Good balance there. I'd definitely see if you could move one of those SP. Maybe look for an upgrade at 2B. But you seem pretty set against ditching either Biggio or Backe so that's all I'll say.

You better trade Mussina as quick as you can because I think his value is the highest it will be right now.When the season starts people will realise that he is a wobbly old piece of beep and no one will accept a trade.
