I hope he does well also, I agree he was not the most likable guy by media & fans ect, but he's one of the greatest all out gamers we ever saw.. He went all out all the time..

Kemper5 - actually, Kirby Puckett was an extremely likeable guy by fans and media throughout his whole playing career - in fact he was as known for his charisma and charm as much as for his all-out playing style. He was easily the most popular Twin to ever put on their uniform.
His popularity was reversed after his playing career ended, when his wife made allegations that he committed all kinds of terrible abuse on her.

I hope he is fine. I remember Kirby being one the best hitters in baseball and a very likable player. That was a looooooooong time ago.

He's had a tough couple of years, though some of it was brought on himself, but I hope he makes it out of this. Maybe this will be the wakeup call that he needs to turn things around.
