Looks like another gem.....this guy is the most dominant rookie I've seen in several years....I don't know why Willis is getting all the attention....Webb has an ERA below 2, a WHIP below 1, an opponents BAA below 0.200.....I think you can honestly say he's the best pitcher in baseball this year.....there's no one else even close to touching him....if only he got run support, the press would be all over him.

Benched Webb and started C. Zambrano. What an ugly night it turned out to be. :,-(

Whatchutalkin'bout Guest? Webb's ERA is 2.04 and his WHIP is 1.01. Before the game his ERA was like 2.16, his WHIP was 0.99.

If he had more K's and wins he'd get the recognition Willis has. I own both, and Webb is behind Willis in my 'rotation'.

He doesn't get the recognition he deserves. I picked him up after a couple starts and heard opposing players rave about his sinker, saying it was like trying to hit a shot-put.

I benched him today, trying to get back on my innings pace. It's tough to bench guys when they are pitching well. He had a prime opportunity to falter today, but he came thru big. I'm impressed with his results.

I benched him and I really regret it, because I missed a chance to lower my ERA, that Mike Williams keeps driving skyhigh! I also missed the chance to pull away in the win category! Damn!

Well, I benched him...but it's not that bad, as his WHIP would have hurt me a bit in my H2H league.

I said before - its prolonged exposure that seems to wreck a pitcher's mechanics there. A good groundball pitcher can do well out there a few times out.

Sure am glad I followed my own advie and played Webb. :-D

i cant believe how awesome webb has been. i have him on my team and i keep waiting for him to collapse. i was going to sit him at coors but at the last minute i put him in because he is a ground ball pitcher. i am not a believer but maybe he will turn out to be the real deal.
