I hope not.

The Cubs have starting pitching all over the place. That money needs to go to a high OBP guy that can set the table for the mashers in the middle of the order.

I'm not referring to Pierre either. I really hope he exceeds my expectations, but I think Cubs fans will be pretty disappointed with him by the time the season is over, if not before.

I'm not sure if Pie will ever post a good enough OBP to be a leadoff hitter, I see him as more of a 3 hitter if he continues to improve.
